Visalia Christian Schools is an Interdenominational elementary, middle and High School providing Christian education to Visalia and the surrounding communities VCS was established in 1979 as a ministry of Visalia First Assembly of God. Today the student body consists of families representing over 30 local churches. Our spiritual growth program is based on solid fundamental Christian training without denominational bias. With the fervent conviction that God's Word is the basis for all wisdom and knowledge, VCS uses the Bible as the foundation for a curriculum that emphasizes spiritual growth character formation, and academic excellence.

Visalia Christian Schools is a reinforcement of the church, not a substitute for it. Likewise , the school views itself as an extension of the home to help parents train their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord, not to take that responsibility from them.

The objectives of VCS are centered around
five basic character builders:

1. To establish CHRISTIAN TRUTH as a guide for life.
2. To maintain a HIGH ACADEMIC STANDARD
3. To instill PURE MORALS in the heart of the student.
4. To Generate a SPIRIT OF PATRIOTISM.
5. To live a DISCIPLINED LIFE.
